SF90 Stradale

The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is a masterpiece of extreme engineering. It is the first Ferrari to feature PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) architecture which sees the internal combustion engine integrated with three electric motors.

Power and Torque

The SF90 is powered by a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 producing 769 hp, combined with three electric motors that add another 217 hp. This results in a staggering total output of 986 hp (1000 cv). This power is delivered to all four wheels, making it the first mid-engined Ferrari sports car to be equipped with 4WD.

Driving Modes

The driver can choose between four different power unit management modes thanks to the new eManettino:

  • eDrive: Keeps the internal combustion engine off and relies entirely on the front electric motors.
  • Hybrid: The default setting when the car is turned on, where control logic manages power for maximum efficiency.
  • Performance: Keeps the V8 running to ensure that power is always available.
  • Qualify: Allows the system to achieve maximum power output by letting the electric motors work at their maximum potential.

Aerodynamics

The car features a “shut-off Gurney,” a patented active system located at the rear of the car which regulates the air flow over the upper body, reducing drag at high speeds and increasing downforce in corners and during braking.
